Adam Hill performs both acoustic and electric bass in a variety of genres. He has appeared at clubs and festivals across North America and Europe, including the River City Bluegrass Festival, the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, the Sisters Jazz Festival, the Deep Roots Music Festival, the Stan Rogers Folk Festival, the Whitehorse Poetry Festival, the Harrison Festival of the Arts, the Yellowstone Music Festival, the Electronic Music Midwest Festival, and the South by Southwest Music Festival.

He has been a member of Atlantic String Machine, Great Lonely Wild, Marmota, Taarka, Rogue Motel, The Sham, the Prince Edward Island Symphony Orchestra, the Central Oregon Symphony, the Walla Walla Symphony, and the Obsidian Opera Chamber Orchestra, and has accompanied many talented musicians, including Andy Hillhouse, Joe Craven, Kate MacKenzie, Andy Armer, Jay Thomas, Bill Dobbins, Hod O’Brien, Dick Hyman, and John Fedchock. He has also appeared on recordings by Kagami, Beolach, Dave Gunning, Irish Mythen, The Crosswalks, Future Historians, Yoyodyne, and Super XX Man.
